About XA Flow

XA has a history of helping companies, and the people behind them, grow.

XA was founded in 1993 by Alfred van der Heide, an entrepreneur in heart and soul. In the beginning, XA focused mainly on regional markets, with products and services from Xerox.

Xerox is a globally operating American company that offers services and products in the field of document management and reproduction. The company was founded as Haloid in 1906, but after buying a patent from Chester Carlson on the so-called xerographic process, the company renamed Xerox. Xerox is also the inventor of various inventions such as the copier, laser printers, fax machines, ethernet and graphic interfaces. The graphical interface that Xerox invented was in fact the precursor of graphical interfaces as we know them today, on our computers, laptops, mobile devices and other touch screens. Tens of years later, the word Xerox still appears in dictionaries, meaning: photocopying or copying. In short, a brand with a strong reputation that is constantly reinventing itself.

XA quickly became one of the most important concessionaires for Xerox within in the Netherlands. As independent Xerox concessionaires, we go much further for our customers than Xerox can. We do not want to be just an hardware or software vendor for our customers, but a valued and reliable business partner. An organization that understands the business of its clients well and thinks proactively with its clients, even if we sometimes have to shoot in our own foot for that. This is a Dutch saying which means that the solutions that we provide to our customers are sometimes at the expense of our own turnover, for example because we digitize paper processes and therefore there is a lot less printing to be done.

Because we have always been in conversation with our customers about print and document management solutions, we very often touched our customers' core processes. For many of our customers, these core processes proved to be so labor-intensive and time-consuming (including many repetitive tasks). The lack of affordable solutions, software that really integrates and with which you can automate specific processes through workflows, therefore remained strongly our interest.

Unfortunately, we were unable to find such software with which you can easily automate processes throughout workflows and at the same time allow all your applications, favorite apps, big data and information sources to work well together. This is why our own knowledge and experience, in combination with best practices and the requirements and wishes of our customers, has become our software solution “XA Flow”.
